I’ve had 3 kiddies, all close in age, so I’ve had my share of “baby brain” and know that there is often a lack of time to properly read all the information that parents get flooded with. This is one of the reasons I wanted to keep my approach to pricing my photography services simple. I’ve also had my own experiences with professional photographers that charge a low sitting fee but have a minimum printing spend hidden in the fine print, a crazy markup on print products and they never let you have the full quality digital files, so that what you thought was going to cost a few hundred ends up being thousands.
This is why I charge a flat fee with no hidden costs and no requirement or pressure to buy print products. For that fee you will get a photo shoot and a disk of professionally edited full resolution digital files. I aim for a minimum of 30 high quality photos but when working with little ones it’s impossible to guarantee that!! There is no pressure to get any photos printed – you are welcome to print them wherever you want, however if you want a professional finish I am happy to organise printing for you and the costs of the prints are outlined below in “Printing Services”.
I know first hand what it’s like to go through the hassle of having a family photoshoot and then only having a handful of precious photos to show for all the money spent (and no digital files to send on to relatives who live overseas), so I hope my approach to pricing fixes that!! Please let me know in the contact form if you have any suggestions about how I could make this even better (p.s. before you ask, my husband says I am not allowed to do this for free even though I would take photos all day if I could… not fair I know).
$495 flat rate fee which includes:

– Professional editing of images
– Set of full quality digital images from the shoot on a disk
